Return & Refund Policy

All sales are final. Because our products are digital downloads (delivered instantly as files you can access, save, and print immediately), we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once a purchase is made.

This is standard practice for digital goods across Etsy, since a downloaded file cannot be "returned" the way a physical product can.

Refund exceptions

We want you to be happy with your purchase. We will consider a refund or replacement only in these specific cases:

• Technical issue with the file — the file is corrupted, won't open, or is missing pages/content
• Wrong item received — you received a different template than the one you purchased
• Duplicate purchase — you were accidentally charged twice for the same item

If any of these apply, contact us within 7 days of purchase at emma@resumesbyemma.com with your order number and a description of the issue, and we'll make it right — either by fixing/resending the file or issuing a refund.

Not eligible for refund

• Change of mind after purchase
• Difficulty editing the template (we're happy to help troubleshoot — just reach out!)
• Incompatibility with software you didn't check before buying (please review the file formats listed in each listing — Word, Canva, Google Docs, or PDF — before purchasing)
• Any file that has already been downloaded, edited, or used, outside of the technical-issue cases above
